Customer Highlight — The Hot Seats

The Hot Seats were formed eight years ago (2002) in Richmond, VA as a good-time band between new friends, many of whom were exploring a genre unknown to them on equally novel instruments. It started with weekly gig, rapidly followed by trips out of town, festival appearances, longer tours, new music, new influences, competition-winning performances (both individually and as an ensemble) three critically acclaimed trips to the UK, and five albums.

The band’s Graham DeZarn enlisted GGR to press their latest EP on black 7″ vinyl.  You can grab a copy from the band at one of their shows, or reach out to them at thehotseats[at]gmail[dot]com.

Customer Highlight — Graveface Records

Recently, we were approached by the Chicago-based record label Graveface Records to press a special glow-in-the-dark 7″ by the band The Marshmallow Ghosts.  As a bonus, Ryan and Michael from Graveface happened to be driving through Cleveland when the records were finished, so we got to meet them in person…we always love that.  Thanks guys!

Stay tuned to the Graveface Records website for when this extremely cool 7″ release comes out in October!

Customer Highlight — Grand Lake

Being released by Hippies Are Dead Records, Grand Lake‘s Blood Sea Dream is a listening experience not to miss.

According to the band’s bio, Grand Lake makes music about something  gigantic, something awe-inspiring, something sublime.  They sink their anchor and it can’t touch the bottom; they look back and can’t see the shore.  The music starts the voyage and they depart from the certainty they’ve once known.  The mast unfurls and they set sail on the gigantic body of aqueous self, leaving behind concrete docks, concrete buildings, and concrete ideas.

Customer Highlight — The Fitt

White records look sweet, don’t they?  The Fitt recently contracted GGR to press their new LP, When The Fitt Hit The Shan on all white vinyl. If you are a classic Sabbath, Motorhead, or Bat Out Of Hell I fan, you will definitely want to check this album out.  Grab a copy here!

Customer Highlight — My Robot Friend

GGR just finished shipping out the killer max-single (in limited edition all white vinyl) for My Robot Friend (Feat. Alison Moyet).  This package is really amazing (if we don’t say so ourselves) — all white vinyl, white art jackets, white labels, and a digital download bonus.  The 12″ EP features seven different mixes of the track entitled “Waiting”.  Grab a copy here!

Customer Highlight — Evil Weevil Records

We were really honored and excited when Bill from Evil Weevil Records called us to place another 7″ order with us last month — this record was The Holy Mess’s Benefit Sesh.  The records (if we don’t say so ourselves) turned out sweet– white vinyl with some really cool matching glue pocket jackets and labels.  Grab a copy today!

Customer Highlight — Robbed The Bank Records

Jason Novak is a really cool guy who recently started a vinyl reissue label of his own– Robbed the Bank Records.  We at GGR were ecstatic when he contacted us about pressing his first two reissue releases — Spitalfield: Remember Right Now and The Forecast: In The Shadow of Two Gunmen.  We are happy to see that these two classic indie rock albums are seeing new light as special limited color vinyl editions.  You can pick them up at the Robbed The Bank Records online store — available individually or as fan packs including all the color variations of the the run (you can pick up test pressings too).
