Fake Limbs has man feelings. Fake Limbs is Chicago’s newest premier heavy rock and roll band. Fake Limbs play “balls-out” r’n’r with a refreshing punk arrogance. Overtones of Jesus Lizard-like wailing, Shellac -type stagger, and Pere Ubu-esque artiness make it all the more awesome. We highly suggest ordering this record, right now. (all pre-orders will receive a link to a quality digital download of the album almost instantly).
The official release date for the record (which will include the ultra-limited white-vinyl edition) is July 5, at which time you can order from BLVD directly or get a copy at your local record store. Pre-sale copies will also be available at Laurie’s Planet of Sound in Chicago!

Chicago acid-punk trio Vee Dee started out a decade ago as a straightforward garage band influenced by the likes of DMZ, Crime, and the New York Dolls. On RSD2011, they released a special limited edition 7″ entitled Miss Lucy. This is the third release by the Chicago-based Blvd Records who, in their own words, are “a collective of three Logan Square friends who are really into Chicago, awesome music, vinyl and getting weird in the DIY spirit.” Who wouldn’t appreciate that? Thanks guys for having us press this record!
