Gotta Groove Records, the only vinyl record pressing plant in Cleveland Ohio, is seeking employees to help us expand. We are seeking Quality Assurance Specialists for 2nd shift.

Our mission is to produce the highest quality vinyl records possible from both a sonic and aesthetic perspective at a fair price and with as minimal environmental impact as possible; and to provide industry-best customer service. No matter the size of the order, our vinyl pressing plant provides personal service and strives for same-day responsiveness to all email and telephone inquiries.

Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Summary: Ensure the output of high quality records with the smallest amount of scrap from 2 assigned record presses per day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

– Communicate with press operator staff to achieve maximum quality and efficiency
– Periodically listen to each record on every assigned press to identify playback issues
– Sort through records to remove scrap and keep accurate number of records pressed
– Identify ongoing scrap and quality issues and help press operators resolve them
– Listen to and package test pressings
– Prepare and maintain QA related paperwork
– Keep accurate documentation of any quality related issues

Minimum Qualifications

– Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent organization
– Familiar with vinyl records and the current industry standards of quality

Wage Range

Jobs start at $16.00 an hour depending on prior experience and the hourly range for employees at this position is $16.00 to $21.00
