Gotta Groove recently finished the 7″ pressing for Best Coast’s “Make You Mine” put out by Group Tightener. Check Best Coast out at www.myspace.com/bestcoasty, and be sure to stop into your local indie record store to pick up this hot new 7″ for yourself!

Gotta Groove just finished up pressing the 12″ LP for Drummer’s Feel Good Together. If you haven’t already picked up a copy of this fantastic new album, be sure to hit them up at www.audioeaglerecords.com to get it! Great classic-sounding feel-good rock.

On the left is Ben Vehorn, who produced and recorded the album. On the right is Audio Eagle Studio Manager Jeff France. The picture was taken at Vehorn's Tangerine Sound in Akron, Ohio. Audio Eagle also has a smaller studio in the same building.

We are both humbled and proud to have been named as the best addition to Cleveland’s music scene by Cleveland Scene Magazine! There are a lot of really great things going on in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame City’s music scene, so this is a great honor!

Incidentally, our next door neighbor, Indigo Imp Brewery, won Best New Brew. Life can never be too rough when you are right next door to a great microbrewery…
Gotta Groove just finished printing the LP jackets for the new HotChaCha album being released by Exit Stencil Recordings in November. Check them out here!
GG pressed the Deathers/Freedom split 12″ record in time for the Now That’s Class Convention in Cleveland– this was actually the first official Gotta Groove pressing! Now, we certainly don’t like to brag, but this customer had some comments to share about our work that we’d like to share (being our first pressing and all):
“The records sound really good. Full, deep, very little surface noise. Wonderful!” — Paul from The Deathers
The Deathers and Freedom can be experienced live at various venues in Cleveland and beyond! (Upcoming shows: the Deathers play the Grog Shop in Cleveland on Nov 29 with Melt Banana, and Freedom play Oct 17 at the Grog Shop with HotChaCha, Founding Fathers, and Uno Lady).

Last week, GG pressed a limited run of vinyl for the new Sloth one-sided 12″– check out the sweet custom jacket artwork:

Two steps forward…1/2 step back… We had a water main break under our building Sunday night, so we had to move our boiler to have the pipe repaired. Therefore, we’ll have to wait a few more days before pressing more wax –but fortunately– no major damage was sustained and we are still on track to be open for business very soon!

That’s right…the very first records pressed by Gotta Groove came hot off the press on Friday August 21…
